Warehouse Assistant

We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant based in Dubai.

Location – Dubai, UAE

Salary – Depending on Experience

 

Key Responsibilities

·      Receive, inspect, and unload incoming deliveries, ensuring goods are accurately checked against purchase orders and delivery notes.

·      Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch in accordance with company procedures.

·      Load and unload goods safely while handling products with care to prevent damage.

·      Store products in designated warehouse locations, ensuring stock is organised and easily accessible.

·      Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory audits to maintain accurate inventory records.

·      Update inventory movements using warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.

·      Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment at all times.

·      Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (where licensed), in accordance with safety procedures.

·      Identify and report damaged goods, stock discrepancies, or equipment faults to the Warehouse Supervisor.

·      Assist with stock replenishment and inventory rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out) principles where applicable.

·      Ensure compliance with company Health & Safety policies and warehouse operating procedures.

·      Support general warehouse and logistics activities as required to ensure efficient daily operations.

·      Perform additional warehouse duties assigned by management.

 

Qualifications

·      High school diploma or equivalent.

·      Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or storekeeping role.

·      Experience with inventory management and warehouse operations is preferred.

·      Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software is an advantage.

·      Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.

·      Physically fit and able to lift, move, and handle goods safely.

·      Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate stock records.

·      Good organisational and time management skills.

·      Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·      Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and inventory systems.

·      Valid UAE forklift licence is an advantage (where applicable).

·      Good communication skills in English; additional languages are beneficial.

·      Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or overtime when required.

 

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to join our operations team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day warehouse operations by receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods while ensuring inventory accuracy and maintaining a safe and organised warehouse environment. Working closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and logistics team, you will help ensure products are handled efficiently, stock levels are accurately maintained, and customer orders are fulfilled on time. The ideal candidate is organised, physically fit, and committed to maintaining high standards of operational efficiency and workplace safety.
