Driver

We are looking for a Driver based in Abu Dhabi.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport employees, clients, visitors, goods, or materials to designated locations in a timely manner.

• Plan efficient travel routes to minimise delays while considering traffic conditions and delivery schedules.

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance or repair requirements.

• Maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of the assigned vehicle.

• Ensure all required vehicle documents, registrations, insurance, and licences remain valid and readily available.

• Load and unload goods safely where required, ensuring items are transported securely without damage.

• Maintain accurate trip logs, fuel records, mileage reports, and vehicle maintenance records.

• Adhere to UAE traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies at all times.

• Assist with deliveries, document collection, banking tasks, or other company errands as required.

• Coordinate with supervisors regarding schedules, route changes, and transportation requirements.

• Report accidents, incidents, traffic violations, or vehicle defects immediately to management.

• Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with customers, employees, and visitors.

• Support general administrative or operational tasks when transportation duties are not required.

• Perform additional duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience, preferably within the UAE.
• Valid UAE Driving Licence with a clean driving record.
• Good knowledge of Abu Dhabi roads, surrounding Emirates, and major routes.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning applications.
• Strong understanding of UAE traffic regulations and road safety standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
• Physically fit and capable of loading and unloading goods where required.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge is an advantage.
• Fluent in English; Arabic or additional languages are an advantage.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or overtime when required.
