Driver

We are looking for a Driver based in Sharjah.

 

Key Responsibilities

·      Safely transport employees, clients, visitors, goods, and company materials to designated locations.

·      Plan efficient travel routes to ensure timely arrivals while considering traffic conditions and road closures.

·      Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure vehicles are roadworthy, clean, and well-maintained.

·      Monitor fuel levels, tyre pressure, engine oil, and other vehicle maintenance requirements, reporting any issues promptly.

·      Coordinate routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs to ensure vehicles remain in optimal condition.

·      Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, maintenance, and deliveries.

·      Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting documents, equipment, and other company items when required.

·      Ensure all deliveries, collections, and transportation requests are completed accurately and on time.

·      Adhere to UAE traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies at all times.

·      Report accidents, traffic violations, vehicle damage, or maintenance concerns immediately to management.

·      Provide professional, courteous, and confidential service when transporting employees, clients, or visitors.

·      Support general administrative or operational duties when transportation responsibilities are not required.

·      Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of assigned company vehicles.

·      Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

·      High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

·      Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience, preferably within the UAE.

·      Valid UAE Driving Licence with a clean driving record.

·      Good knowledge of Sharjah roads, surrounding Emirates, and major highways.

·      Familiarity with GPS navigation systems such as Google Maps and Waze.

·      Strong understanding of UAE traffic laws and road safety regulations.

·      Good communication and interpersonal skills.

·      Excellent time management and organisational abilities.

·      Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

·      Physically fit and capable of loading and unloading goods where required.

·      Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge is an advantage.

·      Fluent in English; Arabic or additional languages are an advantage.

·      Flexible to work shifts, weekends, overtime, or public holidays when required.
