Delivery Driver

We are looking for an Delivery Driver based in Qatar.

 

Key Responsibilities

·      Safely transport and deliver goods, parcels, or products to customers across Qatar in accordance with delivery schedules.

·      Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.

·      Load, unload, and handle goods carefully to prevent damage during transportation.

·      Verify delivery documentation, invoices, and customer signatures upon delivery.

·      Conduct daily vehicle inspections, including checking fuel, tyres, brakes, lights, and fluid levels.

·      Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the assigned delivery vehicle.

·      Report vehicle maintenance requirements, accidents, delays, or delivery issues promptly to management.

·      Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with customers during deliveries.

·      Collect payments or cash-on-delivery (COD) transactions where applicable and ensure accurate reconciliation.

·      Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and daily vehicle inspections.

·      Follow all Qatar traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company transportation policies.

·      Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure orders are loaded correctly and deliveries are completed on schedule.

·      Assist with warehouse, inventory, or general logistics duties when required.

·      Perform additional transportation and delivery-related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

·      High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

·      Minimum 2 years of professional driving or delivery experience, preferably within Qatar or the GCC.

·      Valid Qatar Driving Licence with a clean driving record.

·      Good knowledge of Doha and surrounding areas, including major roads and commercial locations.

·      Familiarity with GPS navigation systems such as Google Maps or Waze.

·      Strong understanding of Qatar traffic laws and road safety regulations.

·      Experience handling delivery documentation, proof of delivery, and cash-on-delivery transactions is an advantage.

·      Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.

·      Physically fit and able to lift, carry, load, and unload goods safely.

·      Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently.

·      Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge is an advantage.

·      Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.

·      Flexible to work shifts, weekends, overtime, and public holidays when required.
