Logistics Coordinator

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator based in Dubai.

 

Key Responsibilities

·      Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely delivery of goods.

·      Plan and monitor transportation schedules to optimise efficiency and minimise delivery delays.

·      Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping companies, customs brokers, suppliers, and customers regarding shipment status and logistics requirements.

·      Prepare and process shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, customs declarations, and delivery notes.

·      Track shipments from dispatch through to final delivery, providing regular updates to internal stakeholders and customers.

·      Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure efficient receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch operations.

·      Monitor inventory movements and support stock replenishment activities when required.

·      Ensure compliance with UAE customs regulations, import/export requirements, and company logistics procedures.

·      Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, delivery issues, and customer complaints promptly.

·      Analyse logistics costs and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

·      Maintain accurate logistics records, shipment documentation, and inventory reports.

·      Support vendor management by maintaining strong relationships with logistics service providers and negotiating service levels where applicable.

·      Prepare regular logistics performance reports, KPIs, and operational updates for management.

·      Perform additional logistics and supply chain duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

·      Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

·      Minimum 2-4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or warehouse operations.

·      Strong understanding of logistics processes, freight operations, inventory management, and supply chain principles.

·      Knowledge of UAE import/export procedures and customs regulations is preferred.

·      Experience using ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), or logistics software.

·      Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

·      Excellent organisational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.

·      Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

·      Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

·      Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.

·      Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
