A Day in the Life

As an IT Technician, you'll be the go-to technical resource for your site, supporting the infrastructure and equipment that powers our fulfillment operations. Your day might include troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues for end users, performing preventative maintenance on computers and specialized devices like thermal printers and handheld terminals, or coordinating with vendors to manage our technology assets. You'll collaborate with colleagues across different departments and occasionally support remote sites, working in a dynamic environment where no two days are exactly alike. You'll also contribute to site projects, participate in equipment testing initiatives, and support senior engineers on more complex technical challenges. Throughout it all, you'll maintain our high standards for safety, service quality, and operational excellence.

Key Job Responsibilities

- Install, configure, maintain, and provide technical support for IT equipment and infrastructure across assigned sites, ensuring optimal performance and availability
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on integrated computer systems, including PCs, Macs, Linux systems, printers, thin clients, scanners, and portable handheld terminals
- Manage technology assets and inventory, coordinating with third-party vendors and suppliers to maintain accurate records and ensure efficient procurement and lifecycle management
- Conduct preventative maintenance and implement continuous improvements to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime
- Communicate clearly with end users, contractors, and external suppliers about technical issues, solutions, and Amazon standards, while supporting site and team projects as needed

Basic Qualifications

- Experience supporting Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems in a corporate environment
- Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems
- Experience maintaining thermal printers, thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals
- UAE National with Family Book
