Job Description
Join our delivery station operations team as a Site WHS Officer, where you'll partner with site leadership to build a safer workplace through data-driven safety initiatives and continuous improvement. You'll combine your expertise in workplace health and safety with lean methodologies to reduce risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture where every associate goes home safely.
A Day in the Life As a Site WHS Officer, you'll divide your time between the delivery station floor and collaborative planning sessions with our operations team. Your day might begin with a comprehensive safety audit of equipment and processes, where you'll identify potential hazards and work with operations leaders to implement solutions. You'll analyze incident trends and safety metrics to uncover patterns, then present findings to site leadership with actionable recommendations. You'll spend time engaging directly with associates and safety teams to gather input on improvement opportunities, ensuring their voices shape our safety programs. You'll also conduct training sessions on company policies, oversee compliance with personal protective equipment requirements, and mentor safety team members. Throughout your day, you'll balance independent problem-solving with collaborative work—partnering with facility teams on preventive maintenance, coordinating with procurement, and ensuring that safety standards are consistently applied across all operations.
As a Site WHS Officer, you'll be instrumental in this mission—working alongside operations leaders, safety associates, and frontline teams to identify emerging risks before they become incidents. We're excited to welcome someone who brings both technical expertise and a genuine commitment to supporting the wellbeing of our team.
