Security Officer

We are looking for a Security Officer based in Dubai.

Location – Dubai, UAE

Salary – Depending on Experience

 

Key Responsibilities

·      Monitor and patrol company premises to prevent theft, vandalism, unauthorised access, and other security risks.

·      Control access to buildings by verifying visitor identification, issuing passes, and maintaining visitor records.

·      Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and other security equipment, responding promptly to incidents and emergencies.

·      Conduct regular security inspections of buildings, facilities, equipment, and surrounding areas.

·      Respond quickly and professionally to security incidents, emergencies, accidents, and fire alarms, following company emergency procedures.

·      Prepare accurate incident, accident, and daily activity reports.

·      Assist with emergency evacuations and implement emergency response procedures when required.

·      Report suspicious behaviour, safety hazards, security breaches, or maintenance issues to management.

·      Ensure company property, equipment, and confidential information are protected at all times.

·      Provide assistance and directions to employees, visitors, contractors, and customers while maintaining a professional presence.

·      Support investigations into security incidents when required.

·      Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and UAE security standards.

·      Maintain professional appearance, conduct, and confidentiality while representing the organisation.

·      Perform additional security and administrative duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

·      High school diploma or equivalent.

·      Valid SIRA Security Guard Licence (or eligibility to obtain one) is preferred.

·      Minimum 2 years of experience in a security, safety, or protective services role.

·      Strong knowledge of security procedures, access control, emergency response, and incident reporting.

·      Experience monitoring CCTV systems and security equipment.

·      Good understanding of fire safety, health and safety, and emergency evacuation procedures.

·      Excellent observation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

·      Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with people at all levels.

·      Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in high-pressure situations.

·      Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.

·      Basic computer skills for completing reports and maintaining security records.

·      Fluent in English; additional languages, including Arabic, are an advantage.

·      Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
