Security Officer

We are looking for an Delivery Driver based in Qatar.

 

Key Responsibilities

·      Patrol company premises regularly to ensure the safety and security of people, property, and assets.

·      Monitor CCTV systems, security alarms, access control systems, and surveillance equipment.

·      Control access to the premises by verifying visitor identification and issuing visitor passes where required.

·      Conduct routine security inspections of buildings, facilities, and surrounding areas.

·      Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, security breaches, accidents, and incidents.

·      Prepare detailed incident, accident, and daily activity reports for management.

·      Assist during emergency situations, including evacuations, fire alarms, and first-response procedures.

·      Monitor suspicious behaviour and investigate security concerns while escalating issues appropriately.

·      Enforce company policies, security procedures, and health and safety regulations.

·      Coordinate with emergency services, law enforcement agencies, and building management when necessary.

·      Ensure all security equipment is operational and report faults or maintenance requirements promptly.

·      Provide excellent customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors professionally.

·      Maintain accurate security logs, visitor records, and access documentation.

·      Perform additional security and facility support duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

·      High school diploma or equivalent.

·      Minimum 2 years of experience in a security, facilities, or loss prevention role, preferably within Qatar or the GCC.

·      Valid Qatar Security Guard Licence or the ability to obtain the required certification is preferred.

·      Good understanding of security procedures, emergency response protocols, and access control systems.

·      Experience monitoring CCTV, alarm systems, and security equipment.

·      Basic knowledge of fire safety procedures, first aid, and emergency evacuation protocols.

·      Strong observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

·      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.

·      Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.

·      Physically fit and capable of standing or walking for extended periods.

·      Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.

·      Flexible to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.
