Job Description
We are looking for a Strategic Initiative Manager for a Government Affiliated Entity based in the UAE.
Qualifications & Experience:
- MBA or Master’s degree in Strategy, Public Administration, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in strategic management, corporate development, or management consulting.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering enterprise-level transformation initiatives.
- Experience in financial modelling, business case development, and investment appraisal.
- Strong experience in stakeholder management at executive level.
- Prosci Change Management, PMP, or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Business Case Development
- Conduct market, sector, and environmental analysis to identify strategic opportunities.
- Develop comprehensive business plans, financial models, and investment proposals to secure executive approval and funding.
- Provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making and long-term strategy.
- Change Leadership & Governance
- Design and implement change management roadmaps to support organizational transformation.
- Build and manage stakeholder coalitions across multiple departments and leadership levels.
- Lead the adoption of new processes, systems, and programs to ensure sustainable impact.
Portfolio & Initiative Oversight
- Manage and curate the portfolio of strategic projects within the organization.
- Prioritize initiatives based on impact, feasibility, and resource allocation.
- Ensure all projects meet defined objectives, timelines, and ROI targets.
Executive Collaboration & Decision Support
- Facilitate senior leadership meetings and steering committee sessions.
- Prepare clear, decision-ready materials to support governance and strategic alignment.
- Guide informed and timely decision-making on key strategic initiatives.
Performance Measurement & Analytics
- Define KPIs for each strategic initiative.
- Develop and maintain dashboards to track progress and performance.
- Monitor outcomes and recommend course corrections to optimize results and accountability.
About the Role:
We are seeking a Strategic Initiative Manager who will lead the organization’s most critical strategic transformations by shaping business strategies, developing rigorous business cases, and driving enterprise-wide change initiatives that deliver sustainable growth and long-term value. Working closely with senior leadership, the role combines strategic thinking, financial analysis, and change leadership to ensure key initiatives are effectively designed, governed, and implemented across the organization. Working Pattern: 4-day work week - Monday to Thursday.
