Production Support Engineer

We are looking for a Production Support Engineer for a FinTech company based in the UAE.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Ability to understand, test and troubleshoot complex system interactions
• Ability to read code, with solid shell scripting, SQL and Linux skills
• Hands-on experience working with and troubleshooting FIX, REST and WebSocket (WS) protocols
• Strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with a wide range of internal and external business and technical stakeholders
• Experience in the digital assets or financial services industry is preferred
• Experience with DevOps tooling, containerisation and cloud concepts (AWS, Docker, EKS) is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigating production issues and working with developers to prioritise and resolve them promptly
• Leading diagnostic efforts, with a focus on automating diagnosis and fixing issues at the source
• Monitoring, analysing and troubleshooting problems, providing code fixes and carrying out thorough testing
• Building and using application monitoring solutions to improve availability and performance in production
• Communicating clearly with users, development and support teams during downtime and when resolving issues
• Following support processes including Incident, Problem and Change Management and SLA compliance
• Developing diagnostic procedures and maintaining high support standards
• Providing support to business users and building strong relationships with internal and external customers
• Supporting quality assurance of the core platform to ensure it is fit for purpose

We are looking for a Production Support Engineer to join a regulated institutional digital-asset business that provides stablecoin FX execution, liquidity and near-instant cross-border settlement to institutional clients worldwide. Having found strong product-market fit in corporate stablecoin payments, the business is now scaling this into its core focus, supported by a technology platform built for institutional scale. In this role, you will keep the production platform running smoothly by investigating and resolving issues, automating diagnostics and improving monitoring, availability and performance. You will work closely with developers, support teams and business users, following established incident, problem and change management processes. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on engineer to support always-on financial infrastructure within an established, regulated financial institution.
