We are looking for a Head of Supply Chain / Procurement Manager for an investment and industrial development company based in Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in industrial procurement or supply chain management
• Proven experience within manufacturing environments (preferably ceramics, sanitary ware, faucets, or heavy industry)
• Strong international sourcing experience across China, Europe, and India
• Solid knowledge of Incoterms, global logistics, and import/export regulations
• Experience with ERP systems and procurement tools
• Strong negotiation, commercial acumen, and contract management skills
• Ability to manage complex, multi-country supply chains and large-scale procurement projects
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies across CAPEX and OPEX categories
• Lead supplier selection, negotiations, contracting, and ongoing performance management
• Drive cost optimisation initiatives while maintaining quality and delivery standards

Global Procurement & Supplier Management

• Manage international sourcing across Europe, China, and India
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and strategic partnerships
• Establish a robust vendor network to support both initial setup and future expansion

Factory Setup & Project Procurement

• Source machinery, molds, and production lines in collaboration with engineering teams
• Align procurement activities with factory setup timelines and project milestones
• Ensure timely delivery and coordination of all equipment and materials

Logistics, Compliance & Operations

• Manage end-to-end logistics including Incoterms (FOB, CIF, DDP) and customs clearance
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (MODON, SIDF, customs authorities)
• Oversee documentation, import/export processes, and shipment tracking

Inventory & Supply Continuity

• Ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials (e.g. clay, kaolin, glaze, brass, ABS)
• Implement inventory control frameworks and ERP-based procurement systems
• Monitor stock levels and demand planning to avoid production disruptions

Systems, Reporting & Optimisation

• Implement procurement systems, reporting tools, and data-driven decision-making
• Analyse spend, supplier performance, and market trends to improve efficiency
• Drive continuous improvement across supply chain operations

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and develop procurement and category management teams
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, finance, and operations
• Support executive leadership on strategic procurement and supply chain initiatives

About the Role:

We are seeking a Procurement Manager / Head of Supply Chain who will take full ownership of building and managing the end-to-end supply chain function for a newly established manufacturing facility. This is a high-impact, build-from-scratch role, responsible for sourcing machinery, raw materials, and services globally while ensuring seamless alignment with production timelines, cost targets, and quality standards. You will act as the key interface between international suppliers and internal stakeholders, driving strategic sourcing, supplier performance, and operational efficiency across all procurement activities.
